AcroYoga Prem Teacher Training 2026

An 11-day, 100-hour (YACEP) certified teacher training at the Children of the Mountain Retreat Center near Bogotá, Colombia, with practice in a large dome amid the Andes.

Founders David Barreto (Deva) and Laura Beltran lead alongside Jesus Montoya, Geno Samper and physiotherapist Frank Ramirez, covering daily yoga, handstands, Thai massage and teaching methodology plus theory on anatomy, injury prevention, consent and ethics, and practice in flows, washing machines, whips, pops and icarios. Admission needs an application and a video of foundational skills (side star, foot-to-hand, 10-second handstand and more). Graduates earn an AcroYoga Prem certificate and Yoga Alliance credential. Tuition from $1,350 super-early-bird; shared-room or tent accommodation and vegetarian meals billed separately ($322-535).

The centre is in La Calera, about 45 minutes northeast of Bogotá; the skills video is due 15 July, a non-refundable $350 deposit secures a place, and graduates gain ongoing mentorship and assisting opportunities.
