APAC - Australian Partner Acrobatic Convention 2027

The 14th Australian Partner Acrobatic Convention, run by Spin Circus at Camp Cooriemungle, about two and a half hours from Melbourne. Arrival on the 12th, workshops from the 13th to the 16th, departure on the 17th.

Born in 2013 and now one of the largest partner acrobatics gatherings in the southern hemisphere. The programme runs wide: three highs, banquine, hand to hand and foot to hand, dance lifts, tosses and dynamic skills, Icarian, L basing, cheerleading, tumbling, rock and roll acro, handstands, teeterboard, doubles trapeze, aerials and yoga. It is pitched at complete beginners through to working professionals, with basic strength assumed.

Early bird tickets are 450 Australian dollars, 525 full price, 475 for first timers, 300 for youth aged 8 to 17. Meals, a dorm bed and a powered campsite are priced separately, and camping is free with a ticket. A combined ticket with Spinfest, which runs the week before at the same camp, is 825 dollars.

Practical things worth knowing: bring your own bedding, dorm beds sell out early, the site is cash only with no ATM and no wifi, there is no bring your own alcohol, and paramedics are on site.
