Easter Acro

An intimate standing-acrobatics convention capped at 75, held at Campus Kajee in Schoten, Belgium - two gymnasiums, a communal sleeping hall and a field for tents and campers - part of the Easter Acro series.

Running Friday evening to Monday afternoon, it offers 10 workshop rounds of 2-3 concurrent sessions, morning handstand classes and continuous free training, focused on standing acro (hand-to-hand, foot-to-hand, dynamics) with Icarian games too. Confirmed teachers include Yanai Levor & Hanny Sidis, Wybren Wouda, Paulo Carolo and Nenad Savkovic & Jelena Kikic. You should already have standing acro experience and be comfortable in 2-highs. Sleep on your own mat in the communal gym or park a camper, with vegetarian/vegan catering on-site. Full passes €250-310, day tickets €70-90.

The teaching team also includes Jarno and Isaiah, and you should be familiar with pitching, tempos and Icarian games. A limited helper rate is €125, refunds run until 1 February (minus €50), and kids are welcome though there's no dedicated children's programming; the site has free tap water plus reasonably priced Belgian beer and wine.
