YogaSlackers' 2027 teacher training in Chiang Mai centres on Slackro - their acro-inspired approach to slacklining - alongside yoga, conditioning, handstands and acroyoga, split into a Level 1 retreat week and a Level 2 teaching week.

Week two adds teaching methodology, lesson planning, coaching and the practical side of running workshops, including digital-marketing basics, all rooted in the YogaSlackers emphasis on safety and progressive, embodied learning. Applicants need foundational slackline/acro skills, inversions and ideally CPR/First Aid, plus a written statement and prerequisite videos. Three Thai vegetarian meals daily with shared, private or off-site housing; roughly $900-1,600 for Level 1 alone up to $1,800-3,200 for the full program, which grants 100 Yoga Alliance contact hours and includes a slackline kit and manuals.

The two weeks split into Level 1 (8-14 Jan) and Level 2 (14-21 Jan); applications are due 1 August with a 500-word statement, three prerequisite videos and a headshot, and the program includes ground transportation and a group dinner in town.
